No, not this Lassie...
but a real, live Welsh lady named Natalie! In fact, this dear woman sent me the sweetest little card with a crimson stamp on it of the bloomin' Queen of England, herself and a blue label affixed to the envelope which my son squealed over. "Did this come on an airplane?!" he excitedly asked and of course I told him that it did, indeed. I have an international pen pal!! She's just lovely and I'm hoping to have made a very good friend. I'm sure she's trouble, though, as she reminds me a little too much of myself. (Another slightly bent halo, I'm sure!) It's terribly evident that Natalie has been gifted with brains, a brilliant sense of humor and the most gorgeous eyes! I ask you, what's not to love?
If you don't know much about Wales, it's been the homeland of raven-haired beauty Catherine Zeta-Jones, poet Dylan Thomas, superb actors such as Richard Burton and Anthony Hopkins, songbird Charlotte Church and the impeccably sexy, hairy-chested Tom Jones! I thought it ironic that I picked out the name of this new blog *before* I became friendly with Miss Natalie. Irony or maybe a blessing...
